Morro is led by Ami Rao Elisman, a multi-disciplinary strategist, designer, and seasoned consultant to some of the world’s most innovative teams.

About Ami

I’m obsessed with the psychology of the future. Looking back, the through line between all of my professional experiences has been understanding how people and organizations think about the future, and what makes those beliefs about the future change. At strategy & innovation firm Jump Associates, I learned to spot the forces shaping the future of an industry, and to uncover the unmet needs that people can’t yet articulate but deeply feel. My time at frog design focused on creating best-in-class, category-defining products and services. Method taught me to capitalize on existing structures to get new offerings built and launched fast, even in large and complex organizations. In between it all, I had the privilege of teaching in the Product Design program at Stanford, where it all started for me. The projects I take on with Morro bring together these skill sets — future casting, needfinding, product & UX strategy, org design, and teaching — to help founding teams navigate the unique challenges of introducing something truly new to the world.
